Parent Support

Our program is a cooperative program. The Faith Development Program at Live Oak depends on the generous spirits and dedication of our volunteer stewards. As there is no fee required in order for your child to participate in the program, we ask that you take an active role by giving your time to the program. Please indicate at least one area in which you can support our program. All levels of support are greatly appreciated! We will contact you as the need arises.

Note: All positions that involve direct contact and/or supervision of children and youth will require a satisfactory completion of a background check.

Support Roles

Children and Youth FD team: works with the DLFD Teacher: lead lessons provided by DLFD Class Assistant/Teacher in Training Youth Advisor (Middle School) Youth Advisor (HS) Adult FD Team member special tasks as needed

Live Oak UU has adopted a written vaccination policy that aligns with the State of Texas requirements. Participation in the program is *not* contingent on meeting these requirements. This information lets us protect our entire community in times of an outbreak in the area. If you are not in compliance with the State of Texas guidelines, the Dir. of Lifespan Faith Development will contact you to discuss. Please indicate the status of your child(ren) below. My child(ren) is current on all Texas State required vaccines.

I understand that Live Oak Unitarian Universalist Church can provide nursery or faith development services for my children only while I am at the Church. I will not drop them off or leave the church grounds during FD hour hour without assigning another adult as their guardian and notifying a teacher or DLFD of that choice.
